During my third Navigation training flight I was feeling a little on the unwell side. We landed at Cunderdin for an hour while I recovered. While on the ground we enjoyed some time with the great crew from the gliding club of Western Australia.

Western Yellowjacket
The Western Yellowjacket, Vespula pensylvanica, persists deep into the fall. This worker is gleaning "honeydew" from a pine tree infested with Cinara conifer aphids. More on this wasp on my Bug Eric blog.
